The Rite of Memphis Misraim was founded in Italy by the merger of two older rites - the Rite of Memphis and the Rite of Misraim. It is also known as ‘Egypt Freemasonry’. With nearly 99 degrees, it is known as the largest Masonic order. The first 33 degrees of this Rite is similar to that of Scottish Rite.
